The Under 11s team narrowly lost 1-0 to Laxey ‘E’ and were beaten more convincingly by a very good RYCOB ‘B’ team. Calum Gawne played a blinder in both games and kept the goal margins down. He was also voted Man of the Match in both games by both the Laxey and RCYOB managers. Anna Shaw, Michaela and Calum-Brophey also got a mention for playing well.
Training is back down the ‘rec’ this Sunday morning – then we have two difficult games in December against Corinthians C and St Georges C !!!!
Some notes;
If anybody wants an Onchan jacket, they cost ?15. See me or Kris if you want to order one (we’ll need your size and initials)
Remember to bring your pound to both training and matches
If you want to play in our league/cup games – make sure you are registered (someone tell Jake!)
Onchan mens first team are playing this Saturday at Onchan Stadium (2:00) in the Woods Cup – everyone is welcome to come down and show some support!
If you haven’t got a pair of shin pads – please buy a pair (?5 from Intersport).
